» The deputy will succeed the leader after their death, and go immediately to receive their nine lives.

» A new deputy is to be selected before moonhigh should the previous deputy die.

» Medicine cats are not to be harmed.

» Kits will be made apprentices at the age of six moons.

» Kits are not to leave camp unless accompanied by a warrior.

» Never kill in cold-blood, unless it is necessary for self-defense.

» The Clan must be fed first.

» Clan boundaries must be respected. Chase trespassers off on sight.

» The Clan leader's word is law.

» Newly promoted warrior will sit silent vigil all night.

» A warrior can't be appointed deputy unless they have mentored at least once before.

» Defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life.
